Finding Dory finally comes out this week and in preparation for it, I'm ranking my favourite Pixar films. To clarify, I haven't seen every Pixar film and being Pixar films, it's going to be largely about my personal attachment to the films. With this said, it's time to make some people very angry with my choices. 7. The Incredibles The strength of The Incredibles is how it managed to both lampoon and embody the superhero trend that was on the horizon yet still largely non-existent. The film is fun and endlessly quotable and, aside from the Arrested Development, it's the closest we'll ever get to a good Fantastic Four adaptation. Before I start the review, I want to state where I stood on the film before I watched it because it's impossible to watch this film without having an opinion. I was pretty open to the idea of an all female Ghostbusters and I've heard very good things about Paul Fieg, despite having seen none of his films. There was nothing about the cast being female that would make it less funny. I got worried though when I saw the trailer as it didn't look funny and looked entirely cliched. I like the original Ghostbusters, although not to the degree that most do but even I was starting to think that this film may not live up to it. So has it? Well. let's get to it. For the past year or so, I've been obsessed with Wet Hot American Summer. 10 years ago, that would have meant loving the cult film but we live in some strange golden age now where that now includes a prequel series and making of documentary as well. Even more exciting, next year we're getting a sequel series based around one skit and the end credits scene that takes place ten years later. This is a film that, on release, was a financial failure and not even that critically well received but thanks to the power of Netflix and a rabid cult following, Wet Hot American Summer is the hottest and wettest new franchise out there. I love music in films, as has been well documented and sometimes, I think to myself how much better the soundtrack to the film is than the film itself. That thought came up quite a lot and led to me making this list. There's some songs from each soundtrack here for your pleasure as well if reading is just too much for you today. 7. Drive The fact that Drive is on here is not an insult to the movie. Drive is a great film and I'd recommend it for many reasons. What Drive being on this list actually means is that the soundtrack is phenomenal. Not only is the soundtrack perfect for the slow burn mood of the film as we watch the Driver move around the city, it's also one of those soundtracks that is a good life soundtrack. By that, I mean that you could listen to the soundtrack throughout your day to day life and feel awesome, whether walking or eating Cheerios. With songs like Nightcall, Under Your Spell and the terrific A Real Hero, this is a soundtrack that fits the fil...
